She was confused, unsure of what she wanted or how she felt. She lived a double life because she feared what others would think. Would they judge her? How would they react? Would treat her the same? She went back and forth, today she was a secretly accepted lesbian and tomorrow will resume her roll as the cute red head with a boyfriend. Her boyish self-image was sometimes questioned but she denied and denied. Everyday she was tempted to shout the truth…or at least until she came out, or in other words, came out of the closet. It was such a big weight lifted off her shoulders. She could be herself, with nothing to hide. For the first time in her life she left complete, she felt excepted and alive.

week 14 redo
I felt bloated for 264 days. I busted the button on my favorite pair of jeans. My feet ached constaintly. I got stretchmarks all over that the coco butter will not fade. I gained over 30 pounds. I endured morning sickness every morning for the first 3 months. I didn’t get much sleep because I couldn’t sleep on my stomach.. I craved boston cream donuts on a regular bases. I couldn’t go more than 30 minutes without having to go to the bathroom. It took me 4 hours to put the crib together. I constaintly worried about anything and everything. I began to woddel instead of walk. I cried over tiny things, like spilt milk. I was in labor for 14 painful hours. But he was worth every bit of it.

Week 15.
Words by Britney Spears
Cameras are flashing while we're dirty dancing
Living in sin is the new thing
Confidence is a must, Cockiness is a plus, Edginess is a rush
Whether you like it or not, it ain't gonna stop
And i came to hit the floor
I got that boom boom
You can look but don't touch
You want a piece of me?
I need to make mistakes just to learn who I am
I'm not ashamed of my beauty you can see what I got
I see nothing wrong in spreading myself around
They're still gonna put pictures of my derriere in the magazine
Everybody's talking all this stuff about me
You're gonna have to see through my perspective
You Drive me crazy
Think that you know me now but you don't
I don't need permission, make my own decisions
I'm Miss bad media karma, another day another drama
Are you kidding me?
Well get in line with the paparazzi
That's my prerogative

week 14-first piece
The beds were as hard as a rock, maybe even harder. He slept with one eye open just in case. he would stare at the ground in fear of making eye contact with another inmate. His inmate number is 142684. He feels completely alone and thinks a lot about how he got myself where there. Every minute he spends in his cell, he prays. Prays for his family and their forgiveness. Most of the time he sits alone on the picnic tables, watching the other inmates play basketball. Every day he carves a tally mark into the wood. Today he put the 105th tally. He took up the habit of biting his nails, sometimes they bleed but it gives him a sense of calmness. Food is served 3 times a day but he is lucky to eat once. Sometimes he goes days without eating because his food is snatched away as soon as he receives it. He would kill for a big mac…literally.
Week 12 redo
Hopefully this is more risky.
If I had to be on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, I would call him for phone a friend. He knows everything about anything, even the little details and random facts. He taught me how to change the oil in my car and how to make the perfect lasagna. He is by far the most intelligent man I know, sometimes too intelligent. He could possibly be compared to Albert Einstein, or at least I do. He is hated by some but respected by all. He shares his thoughts and spreads ideas to help others improve. Sometimes he isn’t given enough credit for what he knows. If you have a question, he has the answer.
Who is this mystery man? Of course, who else could it be…he’s my dad. Duh!
week 13
After I emptied the box of frosted flakes, I opened the refrigerator to find about 2 tablespoons of milk left in the container. I was really craving cereal so I had to go buy more milk. As always, my keys are nowhere to be found. I checked my coat pockets and my purse and realized I was running out of time before I had to work. Living right in town, there is a little convenience store right up the street. So I decided it would just be quicker if I ran there to grab some milk.
About half way there, I had to stop and catch my breath. I wondered if it was really quicker than driving. If it took me this long to get to the store down the street, I can’t imagine how long it would take me to get to work.
After buying my milk, I began to head home; it made me think about how it would be not having a car. I realized I use my car every single day and I don’t know what I would do without it. I would have to walk everywhere, down the street to the store, across town to work, and all the way to Boston if I ever wanted to visit my sister. I would definitely be in great shape and I would save money on gas, but my feet would really hurt.
I wondered about what people did before cars were invented. Did they really have to walk 30 miles to and from school, up hill both ways? How many pairs of shoes did they wear the soles out of?
The walk back didn’t seem to take hardly as long as it did to get there. Maybe it was because my mind was imagining how harsh it would be if I didn’t have a car.

week 12 Theme
As my older sister left the room, leaving her purse behind, I pounced on the opportunity to snatch her license. We look just alike so I knew it would pass for being me. I knew my sister would absolutely flip if she found out that I was the one who took her ID but I that didn’t matter.
I was the youngest of all my friends, so I wasn’t able to get into the bars and clubs. I had 6 months until my 21st birthday, it wouldn’t of killed me to just wait. The following weekend I hit the town with my friends. I put on my high heels and loaded on my make-up. I had no dought in my mind that the ID wouldn’t work, and to no surprise, it worked perfectly.
I had never experienced anything like it before. The music was jammin’, the dance floor was packed, and not a person in sight without a drink in their hand. It was everything I thought it would be and more. I was gonna live it up while I had the chance. “Drinks on me” was a reoccurring phrase I used.
We bar hopped all around the Bangor/Orono area. The Bear Brew was our last stop, the final hooray of the night. Thinking my ID would work, like it had all night, I walked in the doorway and was intently denied.
Bouncer: This isn’t you. Whats your date of birth?
Me: 12-2-87…(which is my sisters birthday)
Bouncer: Well I’m glad you know your sisters birthday because your gonna have to get her something good to make up for the fact you took her ID.
I stood there in aahhh. I was speechless.
Come to find out the next day, that the bouncer was my good friends with my sisters boyfriend.
So at the end of the night, I stumbles away without an ID, carrying my heels, and with no regrets.

Week 10.
I can’t believe she did it. She completely blew it off. I go out on a limb for her and she doesn’t show up. I gave her money to help her get by. I set her up with a good job that was guaranteed hers.
***
I couldn’t even bare to speak to her. I don’t get how she could do this, especially since I’m her younger sister. Obviously I will always be there for her but sometimes she takes advantage of it. She was the older sister. If anything, I should be the one asking for money.
***
I had plenty of money, so I didn’t mind lending her money. I thought she would use my money wisely, for something important… But I was wrong. She used it for her bus ticket to go to Orono for Halloween. She used the money towards a Halloween costume and drinks at the bars.
***
I feel so played. So disappointed in her.

Week 9.
I pushed the door open into the kitchen hoping table 12s loaded nachos were done. There they were under the heat with the slip sticking out. The slip said no sour cream and what do I see on top…sour cream. The cooks have to learn to read and make me a new loaded nacho with no sour cream.
***
My party of 12 at table 2 stopped eating about an hour ago and I’ve been back and forth from their table to the bar with 22oz Bud Lights. The saying on the night at that table was “Shit Yes!” They wanted me to say that whenever they needed another drink. I felt awkward saying it considering they were older men that looked like they were science professors or something.
***
I can’t wait until my tables leave because then I can go home. I have worked 40 hours in 3 days and my feet are killing me. Tomorrow I have the whole day off so I plan on laying on the couch all day and soaking my feet.
***
There was only 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter of the Patriots game so I was hoping my tables were going to leave soon. But of course as soon as I check on them, they wanted more beer. “Shit Yes! Shit Yes!”

Week 8. Vignette
I was getting annoyed because my boyfriend wouldn’t stop texting me when it was our girl’s night out. Once a month, some of my closest girlfriends and I get all glammed up and hit the town. This month we took a little trip to the Old Port. We went to dinner and began bar hopping. We ended up at Oasis. By 12:00 there wasn’t an open seat to be found. I could barely maneuver myself throughout the people to get to the bathrooms. The dance floor was packed with overly drunk girls, wearing overly short skirts. There were another group of girls celebrating a 21st birthday. The birthday girl looked like she drank one to many cherry bombs. Most of the men were around the edge of the dance floor creeping on girls, hoping for a one-night stand. All I could smell was the PBR that was previously spilled onto my lap, which smelt disgusting.

Ashton: Week 7 Theme
Growing up I always looked up to my older brother, Ashton. I know many younger siblings may say the same thing about their older brother or sister, but he has greatly impacted me throughout my life. Ashton is four years older than me so I have seen him make many mistakes and make a lot of great accomplishments.
Ashton is the type of person who when they make a mistake, they learn from it and never make the same mistake twice. For instance, Ashton had to work the day after the 4th of July last year and knowing this he still proceed to go out drinking with my cousins. The next morning, even though he was extremely hung-over, he still went into work at 6am. I believe he showed great responsibility because even though it was only a part time job, he took it very seriously.
Ashton learned at a young age that he would have to work for what he wanted. He works harder than any other 25 year old I know. He started working at Home Depot when he was 18 years old and he recently just became head of the hardware department. He worked very hard and showed his dedication, which got him to higher positions. Ashton not only works full time at Home Depot but he also contributes to our dads business, R.A. Gourley & Son. He works a minimum of 60 hours a week. By working as much and as hard as does, Ashton was able to buy is first house.
My brother is also very protective of my sister and I. He is always there for us even if we were in the wrong. When my brother left for his first year at the University of Maine, our sister’s boyfriend died in a motorcycle accident. Wayne was not only our sister’s boyfriend but he was one of my brother’s good friends. As devastated as my brother was, he showed great strength by being there for my sister.
The older we get, I feel like we get closer and closer. Ashton has always been someone who I can completely depend on. Last year when my ex-boyfriend (Aaron) and I broke up, He was the one who came and got me. That same night, with no hesitation, he helped me move out of our apartment. With what took us 2 days to move in, it only took Ashton and I one hour to pack up his truck. He was there to support me when Aaron came home to me taking everything. I couldn’t have handled everything without him.
I am very proud of my brother and all the things he has accomplished and tought me. I sometimes think he is not given as much credit as he should. Ashton is not only a great role model but also a great brother.

The Jenkins Farm: Week 6 Theme
I remember playing in the apple trees and building small cities in the sandbox. I spent a lot of my childhood at the family farm. The Farm was a place to get away to relax and also a family landmark where we would come together.
When driving up the driveway, the first thing I notice is that one of the apple trees was missing. I ate a lot of apple out of that tree. Beside the trees were the remains of what used to be the garden. It used to be filled with green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots.
We parked the car right next to the garage where we always park. Just like always, as soon as I got out of the car I ran to the outhouse in the garage. I always hated using the outhouse because I was always scared a spider would be down in the hole. The outhouse was exactly like I remembered; dark, cold, and spooky.
When I got done in the bathroom, as I made my way inside, I saw the old sandbox I used to play in. I remember trying to make the whole sandbox like beach sand by sifting out the larger rocks; I usually tried this while my aunt and uncles played horseshoes.
As I opened up the squeaky old screen door to the porch, a rush of memories came rushing back. I saw the worn out canvas sports chairs and smelt the old mustiness of 75 years of history. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
When I made my way into the kitchen it reminded me of all the great memories I had throughout The Farm. My grandmother and I would make angel food cake topped with cool-whip and mandarins for my birthday. Or when all my cousins and I would set up the dominoes all in a row, just to knock them over.
Being at The Farm makes me feel at home and helps me remember all the great times my family and I shared there. That was the last time I was able to visit the Farm because it was put on the market. No one every thought that The Farm would be no more, but I do know everyone will remember our family gatherings and memories shared there.

Transportation. Week 5 Theme
Today’s the day! The day that’s going to change everything! I obviously woke up really early because I was so excited to get my day started. I remember my mom made me a special day breakfast, which consisted of my favorite, dropped eggs on toast.
My dad went with me down to Ellsworth to the DMV. Remember to use your mirrors. Oh and don’t forget to buckle your seatbelt. My dad knew I was wicked nervous, so I guess that was his way of calming me down. I saw the DMV in the distance, it made me that much more nervous.
We went in and signed in. The DMV wasn’t what I had expected. It was an extremely large room with about 50 chairs on one side and cubicles on the other. There were many other young people they’re waiting to take their driving test also. We watched people come and go, and then they called my name, Cassandra Gourley…(women’s voice)
Oh my god. I became completely paralyzed. It was “the women”. This is not happening right now, it can’t be. At that point, I knew it wasn’t going to be the day Cassandra Gourley got her license. As I walked towards the women to head outside to my car, I felt myself slowly dying.
Turn right at the light please. You can take the next left. All right, now you can park right there in between those two cars. This was it I thought to myself, now don’t fuck this up. I went in for the parallel park and every inch of my body began to sweat. I checked my mirrors, lined my car up, put it in reverse, turned my steering wheel to the left, and started backing up. And just like that, I succeeded perfectly. Man am I good or what!
There she goes. She pulled out a piece of thin yellow paper out of her enclosed clipboard. I got it! I got it! I couldn’t believe it. I tried to act like I didn’t notice, like I had full attention on the road and tried so hard to not to let her see me smile. Now turn onto Church Street at the next left and continue back to the DMV. My anticipation was growing out of control. I pulled into the first parking spot I saw and threw my shifter into park. Congratulations Cassandra, you now have your license. YES! YES! YES! My cheeks started to hurt because my smile was so big. Thank you so much, as I shook her hand.
I jumped out of my seat and ran inside to find my dad awaiting my return. As soon as he saw me, his face lit up and I knew he was proud of me. I got it!

4am and im wake...really.
This is when im most productive. When i can't sleep i definitely dont waste my time laying in bed trying to fall asleep. So instead of struggling to sleep, I worked on my tee-shirt design.
(every year my family walks in the ALS walk in bangor. My grandfather died of ALS so we walk as "Phillsey's Patrol in memory of him.)
Well for the past couple of years i have designed our tee shirts and im very excited about next years. (2011 Walk)
Back^ |
Front^ |
I also worked on another tee shirt design for our annual ball toss tourney. Every year my family goes to Lee, Maine to celebrate the 4th of July. We camp there for about a week right on silver lake with about 6 other families. Its a real good time.
Anyways this year Jane and I won the tourney, so i definitely had to make the shirts good.
I love our moto: Drink. Laugh. Toss |
this is what i do in my free time. now i have to attempt to work on my week 5 theme story. Im having a little bit of a hard time coming up with something to write about.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies :) Theme Four
I recently just moved into my first apartment and I absolutely love it. I love being able to do whatever I want, when I want, and how I want. I can definitely get used to this freedom thing. Last night I decided I would make my first batch of chocolate chip cookies all by myself. Being a poor college student, I didn’t want to make them from scratch so I just ran to the store to pick up a mix. As I started I couldn’t stop smiling because I was doing it all by myself and I also couldn’t wait to eat them. After baking for 20 minutes because I don’t have a timer and lost track of time. I burnt my cookies to a crisp. Being depressed by failing, I ran back to the store and just bought Oreo cookies.
I just recently moved into my very first apartment. I have fallen in love with the fact that I can do whatever I want, when I want, and how I want. I can leave my towels on the floor, come home however late, and eat cake for breakfast if I want. This freedom thing I can definitely get used to. Last night I decided to live on the edge. I was going to attempt to make my first batch of oatmeal raisin cookies, all by myself, to break in the new oven. After looking through my pantry I realized I had absolutely none of the required ingredients. So I walked down the street to the local convenient store. The prices were outrageous! $4.00 for vegetable oil? Really? Being a poor college student, I decided to settle for the Betty Crocker cookie mix instead. I ran home and got straight to work. I preheated my oven to 375 degrees, dumped the cookie mix in the bowl, and added 1 egg and a stick of butter. I was almost done and I my mouth was watering. I may have eaten a couple of bites of the dough…I mean I had to check to see if they tasted right. I quickly greased my pan, shoved them in the hot oven and waited. I watched the clock, anticipating the buzzer to go off. The cookies finally were done! Although the fact that they were not made from scratch, they tasted delicious.
I recently moved into my very first apartment. So far I have been experimenting with all the things I can now do. I have so much freedom. I can do whatever I want, when I want, and how I want. I love this feeling. I can throw my dirty clothes on the floor, come home at 4am, or eat rich chocolate cake for breakfast. The other day as I searched my pantry for something to satisfy my sweet tooth, I realized I haven’t yet made any cookies at the apartment. I wanted chunky oatmeal raisin cookies. So I decided I would attempt to bake my own from scratch. I found most of the ingredients throughout my kitchen; the only things I was missing were vanilla extract, raisins, and oats. I quickly walked down the street to Hannaford to grab the remaining ingredients and got into a rut. They only had the raisins and vanilla extract. I was determined to make my oatmeal raisin cookies, so walked back to my apartment, jumped in my car, and drove to danforths. And guess what? All they had for oats was individually packaged oatmeal, which I settled for.
Once I got home, I got straight to work. I preheated my oven to 375 degrees and started throwing in my ingredients. My electric beater decided to break half way thru so I had to mix by hand, which I really didn’t enjoy. By the time I put the cookies in the oven, my kitchen looked like a bomb went off. By the time I got done cleaning my first batch of cookies was done. My oatmeal raisin cookies came out beautifully and tasted amazing. Totally worth the hassle and 10 times better than store bought cookies.

"I said i think i'll go to Boston"- Augustana (Theme 3)
Road trip to Boston
Tiffany: “Hit the road Jack and don’t cha come back”
Me: “no more, no more, no more, no more.”
Starting out our trip to Boston, we sang. We left my parents house moving my sister, Tiffany, down to Boston. I knew before we even left that this trip was going to be one to remember. We didn’t leave till 5 o’clock so we weren’t going to get to Boston till late.
Me: “We need to get gas ASAP!”
Tiffany: “Yup, we can pick up some snacks for the ride also.”
Me: “Arnold Palmers and Charlton Chews are calling my name.”
Tiffany: “ohhhh yaaaa”
Our first stop was On The Run. We definitely stocked up on our junk food. Then we hopped on I-95 south, headed to Boston.
Tiffany: “You can have my heart or we can share it like the last slice”
I love how my sister is completely in love with Drake and knows all his songs. It made for an amusing ride.
Tiffany: “
'Cause baby, you my everything, you all I ever wanted. We can do it real big, bigger than you ever done it.”
Halfway there, we decided to stop for dinner. We thought that since we weren’t going to be seeing each other for a couple of weeks, so we would splurge and go to Olive Garden. The food was so delicious.
Then we had to hit the road. Only a couple more hours till we get there, or so we thought.
Usually it only takes 30 minutes to get thru New Hampshire, but not this trip. We hit the biggest traffic jam ever. We were backed up for over an hour. Although we were at a complete stop on I-95, we made the best of it. We jammed out with the windows down.
Me: “One, two, three, Not only you and me. Got 180 degrees and I'm caught in between.”
Tiffany: “Oh my god!!! I loveee this song!!!” she screamed with excitement.
As we started picking up speed, we noticed in the right lane next to us, a girl rockin’ out to I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry. She was getting right into it…or until she noticed us watching her.
We literally laughed about it the rest of the ride.
Finally we made it into the city.
Tiffany: “No, no, you were supposed to turn left there!”
Me: “SHIT! Now what do I do?!?”
Tiffany: “Take the next left, then turn around, and come back and take it.”
Me: “uhh..okayyyy?”
This was my first time driving in Boston so I was a little nervous. I made a couple wrong turns and cut a couple people off but eventually made it to the new apartment.

Tomorrow will also be a hectic day...I guess my whole life is hectic... so i probably wont have time to bloggg.
Tomorrow is not only my move-in day...but its also the Jason Mraz concert! It should be a pretty eventful day.

Theme Week Two
Well we all survived the new millinum. The world didn’t end like everyone thought it was. To be honest I don’t really remember much this early on in my life but I believe they called it the decade from hell. When mass distraction and social networking took over. Starting off the decade with 2 planes flying into the world trade center isn’t really a positive start. Being only in the 5th grade I didn’t fully understand the extent of how serious this event was on America. At this point, my life revolved around penny candy, slush puppies and the adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley. The following year, my papa died from ALS. He struggled through a lot his last couple of months, so I had a sense of calmness knowing he wasn’t in pain anymore. I know he influenced my life a lot.
In 2004, Facebook was created! This completely hypnotized the whole human population into talking in IM and entirely washing out the American English Language. Remembering all the abbreviations? I mean really PITA…{Pain in the ass}. During this time, I didn’t really spend my time on Face book…It was mostly just a pastime for bored college students. Labor day weekend 2004 wasn’t a good start to my freshman year in high school. My sister was crushed by the death of her boyfriend, Wayne. This was a devastating year but ultimately brought our family closer. Later that year, at the age of 14, Christmas was one to remember. Christmas is supposed to be about waking up at 4am and opening up 100 gifts in a record time of 5 minutes, BUT that wasn’t the case this year. Momma Gourley cracked under peer pressure the night before and woke up with the Asian flu. Buying me a new snowboard made up for fact we didn’t open gifts till 4 in the afternoon. Two winters later I was opening up my Ugg boots and buying my first car. It was a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and it was love at first sight. I remember driving it for the first time…I was nervous I was going to get in an accident.
^ not her best look. |
New Doggie? Yup I think so. OLLIE! Aka my dads pride and joy. Not really a manly dog. He’s like one of little dogs that nip at Ur feet when you walk and you can put it in your purse. Ya he’s pretty cute. But you know whats not cute? Britney Spears’ bald head. Hopefully this made people realize that blonde hair with black roots shouldn’t exsist. I believe this is the era when famous people would do ANYTHING (bad or good) to get in the magazines.
Okay, this is when things start getting raunchy.
At this point, if you don’t have your collar popped and aren’t enrolled in rehab…you’re a nobody. Working my summers at the bangor mall, I definitely got my share of overly skinny guys wearing overly skinny jeans. If they think that looks good, their on crack. This is the year that I grew up…well kinda…I graduated! Class of 2008 Baby! Obama was elected as the 44th president or also known as the first African American president. His moto: CHANGE. Hopefully this meant the end to tramp stamps and tube tops.
In June 2009, America came to a stop. Michael Jackson had died! This was pretty much the end of the music industry…or at least until Lady Gaga took up all the space on every ones Ipod. My mom finds it weird that things that she had when she was younger is coming back into style. Old fashion kind of stuff like bright red lipstick, shirts with ugly patterns, and high waist skirts. So I guess what this means is I should of kept my Tamagotchi.
In my opinion, the first decade on the new millennium went pretty well. I’m sure there is a lot to look forward to…and some not to. I think overall this decade was a major learning experience. I look forward to many more decades to see what my life throws at me.
not to eventful :(
well lets see...
today i had to work all day. which wasn't really the way i wanted to spend my wednesday. i had so much on my mind about school and packing for the big move. so as of right now that is what i am working on...ya real exciting...not.

Past&Present
Yesterday was a fantastic day! A couple of friends and I went out on the motorcycles, and the weather was perfect. My butt kind of hurts now, but it was totally worth it. :)
So far, today I have been working on some homework and getting myself ready for classes later on. I worked on my week 2 theme :You don't have to be old to do week 2...and I think I am getting the hang of it. It felt like it took me like 2 hours just to get it started.
So tomorrow I start going back to work, which I'm not looking forward to. I have to be there at 6:30AM...NOT COOL>. I will be only working monday, wednesday, and fridays. Then on Thursdays I will be working at Abercrombie til I go to classes. Im going to be one busy girl.

Busy Bee
I've been so productive today! I got home this morning from my friends house and went right to work. Today was primarily a painting day. I painted all kinds of things for my new apartment...such as 2 bar stools, a nightstand, and a bench. They all came out beautifully. exactly how i wanted :)
Now that I am done painting, Im going to start on some homework... ugh... :(

If you want my auto, want my autobiography.
primera personaMy confidence is lacking. There's so much to say and tell all but can't write it out. Writing is not my strong point nor is it my favorite thing to do. It makes me sick to my stomach. My mind is racing with ideas for this assignment. I can't seem to get my thoughts in order. Getting started is the hard part.
<What should I say? How should I say it? Am I even doing this right?>
Im hoping this course helps me become a better writer or at least be more confident in what I'm writing.
segunda persona
You come to class, hating life because you have to attend two english classes. There are so many other things you would rather be doing. Do you really have to sit down and write for 45 minutes? eww.
You hope this class is better <English101> because all you did in there was write long essays that really didn't help you expand as a writer.
Bonus: Although your words are your weakness, your determination is booming.
tercera persona
Outside of class, she's a social butterfly that isn't scared to speak her mind. She's a positive girl who's witty and fun. When English class begins, shit hits the fan. Her insecurities take over. If only she could express her comical personality throughout her writing. Really... Why can't she do it? She can't seem to concentrate on this writing assignment, she's only thinking about how hottttt it is outside and going swimming. Hopefully by the end of the semester, she will be able to breakout from her writing shell.

The goooood stuff.
Waking up at 9am= feels good! I couldn't of asked for a better school and work schedule. I have so much free time to do the things I actually want to do, rather then things I have to do.
Heat Broadcast: Today is said to be the last day of this dreadful heat. The rain is scheduled to start later on tonight. Thank godddd. Although I am completely relieved that I wont be sweating profusely anymore, I'm kinda bummed it has to come on the weekend. :( :(
Hurricane Earl is coming!!!

Not ready
I hoping and praying this upcoming semester flies by. Is is bad that I'm already counting down the days til Christmas break?!?! I am pretty nervous for this semester considering i saved all my hard classes for my last semester. English and Science are definitely NOT my strongest points! I am talking my first online class and its been a rocky start.
Besides me dreading my school life, my social life is at its peak. My life is finally turning around, and I'm excited for what's to come. I'll be moving into my new apartment soon, 21st birthday is coming up fast, and going to Vegas to party in the New Year!

Blog Virgin
Although my first bloggin' experience has been a little rocky so far, I think I could get the hang of it after awhile.
Who knows?> Maybe after a couple blogs, I'll be addicted to it like my Crackberry. Chances of that are pretty slim because it is permanently attached to me at all times but you never know. :)
